Changing Campus

The campus of George College, orginially known as Georgia Normal and Industrial College, had very humble beginnings. We started off with one building, the old governors Mansion, and the now abandoned site of the State Pentitentary. From this we grew to a campus that comprises all of the former Pentitentary Square, many historic sites around Milledgeville, and a piece of property known as West Campus on the 441 Bypass.
