History

Dedicated in 1996, the Arts & Sciences Building was constructed as a very large quadrangle with a center atrium. When finished, it was a three-story structure occupying 124,000 square feet. Since it was cleverly built into the stepped down quad, the main entrance was really the second floor. The structure contained forty-two classrooms, sixty faculty offices, seminar rooms and several labs. The building also housed a 299-seating capacity auditorium.
