Russell Library partners with the Student Technology Fee Advisory Committee to purchase cameras, iPads, laptops, and other equipment/technology for checkout to students of Georgia College. Technology is made available to support the university's liberal arts mission and in keeping with the following goals:
The exploration of new technology and its usefulness in academic pursuits
To provide access to technology that may be unavailable to individuals in our institution
To promote innovative learning methods
To aid students in understanding ever-changing technology and its role in academic, business, and personal life.
All technology is for student use. Faculty/Staff may check out technology subject to availability and the same procedures and fines. First priority for Library technology is for students.
