This material was donated to Special Collections by H.I. Bridges in two donations. Research notes and maps were donated in 1992, and the books were given as an addition to the collection in 1994. The collection is largely left with the arrangement that Bridges ascribed to his research files. Originally contained in a series of notebooks, the contents have been moved to legal-sized boxes. Items that did not fit in legal-sized boxes were moved to an oversized box.
