MATH 1111 - College Algebra: 2.4 Graph of Functions

2.4 Graph of Functions

At the end of this section students will be able to:

  • Test the graph of a function for symmetry
  • Determine if a function is even, odd or neither
  • Find the x-intercepts and the y-intercept of the graph of a function
  • Determine the intervals where a function is increasing, decreasing or constant
  • Sketch the graph of a piecewise-defined function
  • Use transformations techniques to graph a function
