Interlibrary Loan

About Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan (or resource sharing) is the process through which one library requests material from, or supplies material to, another library.

To access your Interlibrary Loan account now, please go here.

Eligible Georgia College library patrons may borrow a variety of materials, such as:

  • books
  • DVDs and/or VHS video cassettes
  • sound recordings (CDs, LP records, audio cassettes)
  • microfilms

PLEASE NOTE: Physical Interlibrary Loan services have returned with some delays, based on availability of items in other libraries. Interlibrary Loan for digital resources remains available, with delivery online for those resources. We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Patrons may also receive via Interlibrary Loan photocopies or electronic PDFs of articles in magazines that are owned by another library.

Interlibrary Loan enables library staff to search large numbers of libraries at once, borrow or lend to libraries from several miles to thousands of miles away, expanding access to other local, state, national and international libraries.

Before using Georgia College's ILLiad:

  1. Search the Georgia College Catalog and/or University System of Georgia Catalog
  2. Search the Journal Locator

Still can't locate what you need?
