Time Allotment: Approx. 30min. 

Description: 

This workshop provides insights for students on effective poster creation. Students will get the opportunity to review sample academic posters from other institutions and judge them according to criteria shared in the session. The workshop will cover tools to use for poster creation, image resources, how to present the poster and the tools available at the Russell Library. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Familiarize students with the tools used in creating academic posters in order for them to create dynamic presentations. 
  • Students will judge sample academic posters in order to apply the details learned during the workshop. 
  • Familiarize students with Russell Library resources in poster printing in order for them to utilize the equipment if necessary.
