Designing Effective Poster Presentations

Poster Printing

Cost 

6 cents per square inch = Canvas Photo Paper 

4 cents per square inch = Matte Photo Paper

2 cents per square inch = White Bond paper 

To utilize the poster printer, you will need to stop at the circulation desk on the second floor of the library to fill out a short form and pay for the printing. 

 

How big should my poster be? 

The maximum size that can be printed on the color plotters in the Library is 36 inches by 48 inches. 

Note: If you have the option of setting the resolution (dpi) of your poster, it is recommended that you specify at least 150 dpi.

3D Printing

$.10 cents per gram for 3D Printing 

Many of the examples at the 3D Print Desk are around $2-3, but it depends on size and density.

Files can be found for free on Thingiverse.com  Files should be saved to a flash drive or can be emailed to gcsu.sta@gmail.com (.stl file)
