This material was donated by James C. Bonner Jr. as part of his father's collection, James C. Bonner papers, in 1983. Documents pertaining to Robert W. Trapp were removed and became the Robert W. Trapp files in 2016. This collection was originally contained within the James C. Bonner papers and removed in 2016 due to the research potential of the collection and the significance of Robert Trapp to the Milledgeville community. Personal correspondence and business correspondence were foldered together in chronological order and other papers were placed together by subject.
