To record your video presentation you should first reserve the Experimental Tech Studio. Use the Book-a-Space button below to see available dates and times for the Experimental Tech Studio (and other studios). This Studio provides students with a desktop computer and projector to load and display a PowerPoint presentation. Follow the instructions (center column) for using the video equipment.
Sign in to YouTube (with your Bobcats account). If you've signed in to Gmail, you should be able to switch to YouTube from the Google Apps menu.
At the top right, select > Upload Video.
Select the file you'd like to upload. The video will be saved in the Camera Roll Folder located in Pictures on the studio computer.
You will be prompted to add a basic description of the video. Please use the title of your presentation as submitted to the conference as the title of your video.
Open the Visibility page to choose your video's privacy setting. Upload your video as "unlisted."
After the video has finished processing, select share and use the email option to submit your presentation.
Send the link to email@example.com with GC Talks as the subject.
The GC Student Research Conference provides undergraduate and graduate Georgia College students from all disciplines the opportunity to present their scholarly work to the campus community.
The 2020 Student Research Conference will take place on Friday, April 3rd. Abstracts are due no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13th, 2020.
