Workshop Information

Time Allotment: Approx. 50 minutes

Description:  Come learn about Fair Use, the TEACH Act, your copyrights as an author, and a little history about the USG copyright policy. Included are instructions about how to submit electronic course reserves to the library and best practices for using copyrighted materials in your classroom. This workshop is geared towards faculty and staff.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand USG Copyright Policy and your responsibility as an instructor
  • Use the Fair Use Checklist
  • Learn best practices for using copyrighted material in the classroom and online
