Although, the majority of the feedback was positive and not many suggestions for improvement were offered, I do plan on making some adjustments. I plan on being more thoughtful in my responses to students and explain things more thoroughly. I've always been aware that I need to slow-down during my lecture portions and will continue to improve upon that.
I believe the one area that I'd like to improve upon the most is the assessment portion. I'd like to develop new and engaging methods of instruction that can be easily assessed beyond simple worksheets.
Nothing in the peer-review particularly surprised me. I expected some more areas of improvement, if nothing else. I don't want colleagues to make up issues but some additional notes with constructive pointers may have been helpful.
