The Vinson memorabilia contained in this exhibit has been loaned to Georgia College by the family of late Charles T. Snead. The exhibit was made possible through the leadership of Georgia College Foundation and the donations from many friends and admirers of Carl Vinson.
There are three series in the Carl Vinson collection. Series 1 contains speeches and ephemera. This series includes documents such as letters, acceptance speeches, magazine articles, dedications, interviews, oral accounts, news clippings, press releases, and several photographs. Series 2 includes several scrapbooks with corresponding dates. Series 3 includes photographs of Carl Vinson with notable people.
