*WE NOW OFFER PLASTIC AND RESIN 3D PRINTING!

  • Stop by the 3D Print Desk or just email us your .stl or .obj file and print details to gcsu.sta@gmail.com and complete the 3D Printing Form.

3D printing technology is available to everyone to make three- dimensional objects in plastic or resin using a design that is sent to us at gcsu.sta@gmail.com. This file needs to be either .stl or .obj file and can be found on Thingiverse.com or created by you using free online software such as Tinkercad.com.

In order to best serve the community, Russell Library adheres to the following procedures:

  • Due to limited staff and hardware resources, the library does not guarantee specific delivery times. It is recommended to budget at least 48 hours from time of submission to pickup.
  • Charges for 3D printing cover only the cost of the materials used to print the product (filament and base, no charges for overhead, labor or machine cost).
  • Users will be responsible for covering materials costs whether or not the print completes properly.
