Retired Faculty Files

Scope and Content

The material contained in the files spans equally from the 1950s to the 1970s. Each individual file contains one or more of the following:

  • News Releases
  • Information Sheet
  • Photographs
  • Curricula Vitae
  • College Publications
  • Correspondence

The news releases generally provide information regarding the retirement of faculty as well as highlighting the accomplishments, activities and awards of faculty. The information sheet provides us with brief biographical information. The photographs taken by the Department of Public Relations capture faculty in either a standard pose or engaged in a range of activities. The curricula vitae included in the files give insight into the educational and professional background of faculty. Some files may also comprise of correspondence written by, to or regarding the activities of faculty. Also, some files may contain college publications such as Thirty, a newsletter focusing on the activities of the college and its personnel.

The Retired Faculty Files consist of approximately seven cubic feet. The Retired Faculty Files are available, without restriction, to all qualified researchers.
