This material was donated by James C. Bonner, Jr. to add to his father's collection, James C. Bonner papers, in 1983. Documents comprising the Daniel B. Sanford folders were removed and became the Daniel B. Sanford correspondence in 2016. Letters were foldered based on immediate relation to Daniel B. Sanford and are in chronological order within the folder. Papers were placed together by subject.
